Washington State APCO Bylaws DRAFT as amended 4/22/10 - to be ratified at the June chapter meeting: Download now in PDF format

In 2008 the memberships of Washington APCO and NENA voted to work more closely together and to consolidate the executive committees. The partnership agreement called for combining the bylaws of both organizations into a single document for adoption by the membership at the 2010 annual meeting (Tuesday June 22 in Wenatchee).

To meet this requirement the Bylaws committee submits the attached documents:

* Separate Constitutions for APCO-WA and NENA-WA. The constitutions are intended to govern each individual organization if the memberships decide to end the partnership in the future.

* A combined set of bylaws. The bylaws are intended to govern the combined Washington APCO and NENA "partnership"/chapter.

The documents will be presented with a motion to adopt at the June Chapter meeting. Floor amendments pertaining to any section may also be considered, so if you have an interest in this issue please be sure to attend the meeting.
